Welcome!

On October 4, 2017, the ΔΚΕ International board voted to restart the Delta Chi colony at Cornell. We have 11 upperclassmen learning about the chapter and preparing for their initiation. Meanwhile, we are actively recruiting additional students, both freshmen and upperclassmen, to join ΔΚΕ in February. Our new brothers will be working with two ΔΚΕ International Chapter consultants and Phired Up Productions LLC in our recruitment efforts. We can use plenty of alumni assistance in this effort.

You Can Help

First: if you know of any current Cornell students interested in joining a fraternity or of any transfer or freshmen starting at Cornell this fall, please let us know.

Second: if you have not already supported us in 2017, please pay your class dues. Your dues pay for our recruiting expenses and the costs of restarting the chapter. Please visit our donation page.

Third: please consider volunteering to be an alumni mentor. Normally, we would have an undergraduate brother serve in the “big brother” role to help our pledges learn their way around ΔΚΕ and to provide wise counsel in finding their way around the hill. Because we do not have any active undergraduate members, we are looking for alumni to fill these roles. In addition, we want alumni to come to campus for a career-networking event in November, a pledge-day dinner in January, and a retreat at Glenora in April 2018 to facilitate the undergraduate elections. We asked for volunteers this past fall, and if you volunteered then, you are on our list. But if you have not volunteered yet, please email bob@racepacket.com.

2017 Cornell Giving Day

On March 14, 2017, 69 Deke alumni gave a total of $6,328.32 in response to a matching challenge from members of the Delta Chi Association board. The match will be $4,137.50. Deke raised more money on Giving Day than any other fraternity, sorority, or program house. Many thanks for your generous contributions.
